Eureka Software ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our Eureka Strength workout tracking mobile application.

Information Collected by Eureka Software

Minimal. Eureka Software collects only the information necessary to provide subscription services and optional Accountability features. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising purposes.

Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The following data is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly enable Accountability features:

• Workout Data: Exercise names, weights, repetitions, sets, and workout timestamps
• Workout Plans: Custom workout plan names and exercise configurations
• Recovery Data: Soreness reports and recovery tracking information
• User Preferences: Weight units (lbs/kg), appearance settings, and other app preferences

Information Processed for Subscriptions

When you subscribe to Eureka Strength:

• Purchase Information: Handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details, credit card numbers, or billing address.
• Subscription Status: We receive confirmation of your subscription status from Apple to provide access to premium features.

Information We Do Not Collect

• Personal Identification: We do not require names, email addresses, or phone numbers to use the app
• Location Data: We do not access or store your location information
• Health Data: We only write workout data to Apple Health (if you grant permission). We do not read data from Apple Health.
• Analytics: We do not use third-party analytics services or tracking technologies
• Advertising Data: We do not collect data for advertising purposes

Accountability Features (Optional)

Eureka Strength offers optional Accountability features that allow you to share workout information with designated caregivers or family members. These features are entirely opt-in and under your control.

What Can Be Shared

If you choose to enable Accountability features, you may share:

• Workout Completion: Whether you completed a workout on a given day
• Progress Summaries: General progress trends and workout frequency
• Activity Alerts: Notifications to caregivers about your workout activity

How Sharing Works

• You Initiate: You must explicitly invite caregivers and approve their access
• You Control: You can revoke caregiver access at any time
• Limited Scope: Caregivers see only the information you choose to share
• No Third Parties: Your data is shared only with your designated caregivers, never sold or shared with third parties

Caregiver Data

If you are a caregiver:

• You will only see data that users have explicitly shared with you
• You cannot access data without the user's invitation and approval
• Your access can be revoked by the user at any time

How Eureka Strength Uses Your Information

Your workout data is used solely to:

• Display your workout history and progress within the app
• Provide exercise defaults and weight suggestions based on your previous lifts
• Track recovery and provide soreness-aware workout recommendations
• Export/import your data for backup purposes
• Share with caregivers (only if you enable Accountability features)
• Maintain app functionality and user experience

Data Storage and Security

Local Storage

• All your workout data is stored locally on your device by default
• Data is stored using Apple's secure SwiftData framework
• No workout data is transmitted externally unless you enable Accountability features

Accountability Data Storage

If you enable Accountability features:

• Shared data is transmitted securely using encryption
• Only the specific data you choose to share is transmitted
• You can delete shared data and revoke access at any time

Data Export/Import

• You can manually export your data as a backup file
• Export files contain only your workout data
• Import/export is entirely under your control

Security Measures

• Data is protected by your device's security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID)
• App follows iOS security best practices for local data storage
• Any network transmission uses industry-standard encryption

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share, sell, rent, or otherwise disclose your personal information to third parties, except:

• When you explicitly choose to share with caregivers through Accountability features
• When you explicitly choose to export and share your own data
• If required by law or legal process
• To protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others

Data Retention

• Your workout data remains on your device until you delete it
• Deleting the app will remove all locally stored data
• If you use Accountability features, you can request deletion of any shared data
• You can delete individual workouts or all data through the app's settings

Your Privacy Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: View all your workout data within the app
• Export: Download your data in a portable format
• Delete: Remove individual workouts or all app data
• Control Sharing: Enable, disable, or revoke Accountability sharing at any time
• Manage Caregivers: Add or remove caregiver access

Children's Privacy

Eureka Strength is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The Accountability features are designed for adult caregivers monitoring adult users who have consented to sharing.

Third-Party Services

Apple App Store

This app is distributed through the Apple App Store and uses Apple's in-app purchase system for subscriptions. Apple has its own privacy policy and terms of service.

Apple Health (HealthKit)

If you grant permission, Eureka Strength can write workout data to Apple Health. We only write data; we do not read from Apple Health. This integration is optional and controlled by you in iOS Settings.

No Analytics or Advertising

• We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase, or similar services
• We do not display advertisements
• We do not use crash reporting services that collect personal data
• We do not integrate with social media platforms

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:

• Posting the new Privacy Policy on this page
• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Providing notice through the App Store update mechanism if changes are significant

International Users

This app and privacy policy comply with:

• General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for EU users

Your data remains on your local device unless you enable Accountability features.
